Ames Barro Pot

BARRO is a range of unique and high-quality ceramics, manufactured for ames according to traditional pottery crafts in small, family-run manufactories located in the Colombian province of Tolima. The ceramics are created entirely by hand, from the diggingrom the digging of the h oles to extract the black clay to burning and polishing. For his designs, Sebastian Herkner has taken inspiration in particular from the archetypal forms of exhibits shown in the Gold Museum, the “Museo del Oro”, in Bogotá. The result is a range of vases, bowls and pots that can also be used as plant containers.

The BARRO pots are offered in two different designs: with a base or in a three -legged version. Both designs are available in two sizes.

The products of the »ames sala« collection are mostly made from natural materials and produced in small, traditional manufactories. As each object is unique, there may be slight variations in size and colour.
